MoneyGram Incorrect Name

Hello,
First of all I'm not sure if this is in the right section as such feel free to move it if it is not, however as far as I'm aware MoneyGram is regulated by the FSA and would fall under similar rules that the banks must follow.
I went into my local post office to sent a MoneyGram payment, I filled out the form and handed it to the person behind the counter after entering the information and taking my money I then recieved my transaction number. After skimming over it everything looked fine however I noticed that when I got home one letter in my friends name is incorrect an I became an F. Would this cause considerable trouble for him to collect the money? If so would I be able to get my money back along with the fees as the error was on MoneyGrams incorrect data entry?
Thanks,

Probably can, but may be a long and drawn out proceedure, I suggest you either check if your friend has received it yet and if not or had problems go back to the post office and explain the situation to them first to see if it can be rectified, if they fail then yes you should go the route of the fsa, be prepared for it to take a good few months though !0
