Dammit.I thought this was about gadgets with plugs. Now I realise it's gadgets with or without plugs. So add two pasta machines and two fondue sets to my long list already posted.0

Kettle, toaster, microwave, breadmaker, mini mill/grinder, juicer, chopping boards, utensil jars, radio and whatever plants need a southfacing window and warmth.
All in use daily apart from the juicer which is just there sulking.
In cupboards, hand blender, stick blender, mouli grater, all baking tins and trays, saucepans. Steamer lives on top of the cooker.
Nothing on top of cupboards. I struggle to reach things on the top shelves anyway so don't want to have to go mountaineering just to cook dinner! :rotfl: Can't have a set of steps as we have a very narrow galley kitchen and there would be no room.0 -
On work surfaces:- 2 pots with utensils, microwave, Kenwood Chef both used often; knife block, coffee maker (think it could be relegated to a cupboard), pile of tat which has accumulated while I have felt grotty with a cold, mug with pens/pencils, phone on shelf. Compost caddy next to sink, Panasonic breadmaker - used couple of times per week, kettle, jars with tea, coffee, sugars, salt, Magimix.
In cupboards - stick blender, hand mixer, liquidiser for Chef, rice cooker (won in a raffle - might give away but use it from time to time) Large and small slow cookers - both used frequently, George Foreman type grill with removable plates - use it for bacon and "flattened" sausage as my grill pan is huge and I HATE cleaning it, ice cream maker - new toy but it gets a lot of use, toaster. Kitchen is quite small and a lot of the above plus all baking tins, large pans/casseroles live in utility/garage adjoining kitchen. When we bought the house 15 months ago we thought we might extend the kitchen into to garage, but I decided it was too much hassle and OH fitted kitchen units out there and it works well for us, as washer, dryer, freezer and 2nd fridge live out there anyway. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Kettle and microwave.
No other gadgets owned or used.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
On countertops:
2 chopping boards (2 sizes)
mug tree (6 mugs/cups)
pot/pan tree (5 pots mainly used)
toaster
knife block
sugar storage holder
kettle
microwave
2 pots on cooker (get used more than the ones on the pot/pan tree)
2 glass storage holders (one with rice in it, the other has some pasta)
Inside cupboards:
slow cooker
sandwich toaster maker
stick blender
some frying pans & a wok0 -
Microwave
Kettle
Rice cooker
Mini blender
Stick blender
Sandwich toaster
All except the sandwich toaster gets used regularly, but the one I wouldn't be without is the rice cooker. You could take away the microwave and the kettle and I wouldn't care that much, but I can't cook rice without my rice cooker! my rice is awful!Saving for deposit: Finished! :j

And more importantly which do you use?
and if you were only allowed to keep one which would it be?
I have
Breadmaker - not used really should but am trying to lose weight)
George Foreman - new so used hopefully this will continue
Slow cooker - used all the time in winter trying to use now as well
Smoothie Maker - a gift used once or twice
Fryer - never used oil too expensive and cleaning too much hassle
Expresso maker - not used very occasionaly I will use the steam spout to make a hot chocolate
Electric Mixer - used when I make cakes
If I could only have one I would chose the slow cooker.0 -
My juicer is the latest thing. £150 and I love, love, love it. I have lost 19lbs juicing for the last 3 weeks. Husband 10lbs. So, I think it has been worth buying, even if I never use it again.
My cupboards are cluttered with:
Breadmaker - agree re weight loss
Smoothie maker/blender - well used with a teenager
Toastie maker - Breville about 15 years old - worth weight in gold
Slow cooker - will not be without it. Used always
All that and a two oven , 6 ring cooker for three people yikesGrocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0 -
Slow cooker (love this!)
Bread maker (also love this!)
Panini press (used a lot)
George Foreman grill (used several times a week)
Smoothie maker (used occasionally)
Blender (used occasionally)
Mini chopper (used a lot)the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
The only gadget I really use frequently is my food processor and blender combo. I got it for christmas and as I have bad dermatitis on my hands I can't always chop things myself. I also use it to make homemade hummus, soups, pesto, etc which means I can make them cheaper and healthier than shop bought. It has definitely paid for itself already.
I have a George Forman from when I first moved away from my parents, but I've been veggie for a few years now so it doesn't get much use! I do use it to make cheese toasties on sometimes haha.October Grocery Challenge: £20.65/£150
