I've got a huge turkey (raw) in the freezer that my son was given on Christmas Eve just as the supermarket he works at was closing - all staff could have one free after they'd been reduced and didn't sell. Original price was over £50, super-duper organic, free-range, etc! Think I'll defrost it soon, cook and freeze leftovers - bet there's enough to feed us (3 adults, 2 small kids) for at least a dozen meals!

    A xo

Mr S basic ones are vegan and I always eat them the year after I buy them. I also eat them in summer :rotfl:. I buy around 3 or 4 in November/December and one always makes it for the Yule the year after I bought it. Then the cylce starts again. I think they taste better that way. I've eaten 'christmas pudding' the year I bought it and it didn't have the right taste in my opinion.
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy :D
  • I have 2 Christmas puddings, and I believe mince pies!!

Christmas whoopsies are just as exciting as Christmas day for me :rotfl: though I have used most of mine up now. I have lots of stilton in the freezer, I bought a whole cheese for £1 which is one of my best bargains ever, an assortment of fake Baileys going back years, and a surprisingly large stash of chocolate, which we don't eat much in our house.
