Broadband/phone switch +18185

I really enjoyed using the 18185 number for much cheaper calls abroad while I was with Virgin broadband but since I've switched to BT Broadband and subsequently Plusnet for phone as well, they won't let me use 18185 any more. Surprise surprise. Is there any way round this or are our rights to choose being eroded again?

Unless they have stopped it recently you should be able to use 18185 indirect access on Plusnet.

If they are blocking indirect access you can use it via there 0808 freephone access number.

If you have inclusive 01/02 minute,s you might someone like www.localphone.com to be cheaper.0 -
Per some other MSE posts, Plusnet were allowing 18185 as recently as a year ago, what happens when you try it?
There is always the 0808 option (albeit you don't get the hour long landline calls for 8p-ish)0
