i am currently unemployed,searching for work(i have a interview this evening),whilst studying for my ecdl,which is free.i was wondering if the government would subsidise or loan me the money to pay for a comptia course to enhance my chances of employment.there is a initial cost of £100 deposit,followed by 6 monthly payments of £75.it is a online course,although the test is in a classroom.

You would have to ask at the JCP.

AFAIK they would not normally pay for courses like this but unless you ask then you will not know.

The company that the course is with should be able to advise you if the course comes under the benefit rules and be able to give you details of any subsidies available.
