Dead of night, move to kerb/gutter. If you don't want to touch it, use a shovel.0

My moggy's got a lot of neighbourhood mates. Our money's on cats with opposable thumbs.

Just bury it. As long as you make sure the hole is deep enough ( about 2 foot ought to do it ), it'll slowly decompose underground and provide a bit of nutrient to the soil. That's what I did when I found a dead fox a few years ago. The nearby rose bushes seems to thrive on it !0

We found a dead fox in the back garden at a house I lived at in Brighton a few years back. One of my housemates called the council, who came and removed it for free.0

UPDATE
Council were really helpful, arranged for their contractors to remove it. They have just been (within 2 hours of call) and removed it, no charge.
Thank you Wirral Council, very good service. :T0 -

I called our local council a couple of years back about a dead rat I had found. I was advised to bag it and bin it. They couldn't decide however, whether it went in the green bin or the non-recycleables.
In the end, I de-bagged it and it went in with the vegetable scrapings."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
