Thanks Del, have emailed you.You really have to fly either with Air Pacific from Hong Kong or from Los Angeles with the same carrier
The other alternative is to fly to New Zealand then onward from there with Air New Zealand
To stick to the durations you have suggested above your gonna be really tired not much of a relaxing honeymoon
Thanks

If you want bespoke then you should consider doing it yourself - there are loads of online forums and the planning can be fun - and you've got loads of time. And it'll get you researching what it is you actually want to see and do so you end up with a better honeymoon. It's what we did on ours, and before the days of internet forums...
Long haul packages do tend to be a rip-off, especially the sort you're talking about, and although you may not want to scrimp on your honeymoon you could use the money saved to spend on luxuries while you're there (on ours we spent the first 2 nights in a very expensive LA hotel) or maybe take an extra week off so you have a decent amount of time. Like others have said 2 weeks really is far too short for a trip to the other side of the world.0 -
We used Trailfinders to help us plan and book flights for our round the world honeymoon last year. Couldn't fault them.
We spent six weeks away. Two weeks is not enough if you are planning on visiting two or three different places. You'll spend a large amount of that time travelling or preparing to travel0 -
I can also recommend Trailfinders
Excellent service, very helpful[/CENTER]Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
Thanks for the details guys.
I think we may need to consider going only as far as Asia then (or the Caribbean) based on what most people have advised, as we can only got for 2 weeks due to work.
Any ideas of similar beach resorts to the likes of Fiji, Bora Bora, etc. in Asia. Im not really keen on the likes of Thailand, seems far too commercial and 'busy'.
Moonchild mentioned Pangkor Laut and Kura Kura (thanks)
Any others?0 -

Doing it yourself could end up a lot of disasters, and what if you are planning to go somewhere that takes a lot of thought. Tailor-made tour operators have usually had a lot of training and know exactly the right places to go and those to avoid.
cazenove and loyd are excellent in planning luxury tailormade honeymoons0 -
Such as? Is there anything you can highlight which you absolutely 100% guarantee could not occur with someone else (ie a company) putting your honeymoon together?Doing it yourself could end up a lot of disasters
I appreciate ABTA coverage, but is there anything in there which genuinely could not be covered by a decent insurance policy?
edit
Just for clarity, I'm agreeing with those above who advocate doing it yourself. Half the fun is deciding where to go and putting the research into building the perfect holiday.Legal team on standby0
