Morning everyone. Been to Sainsburys this morning, got a £22 shop down to £12. They had sent me some coupons in the post the other day to use over the next few weeks, £4 off a £20 spend, so used one of those, also got the Lactofree yoghurt and cheese, a large Lenor for £1, more washing up liquid, Ariel and a few other bits and pieces. When she tried to scan the Fairy liquid coupon, it didn't scan first time, so she handed it back and said I can't take that it's out of date, I said, oh is it, I always check the dates, when I looked it wasn't out of date until end of July, I handed it back and said it's not out of date, look at the date, she tried again and it scanned. So was pleased got £10 off my shop.
Just to add, anyone with the Vimto coupon, they are £1.09 each but buy one get one free, I used two 50p coupons, so got 2 bottles for 9p.0 -
I would give the Sainsburys in Blackpool a miss if you want to use coupons. I have tried a few times when going on holiday there and they always point out the "not to be used in conjunction with any other offer" in the terms on the coupon and will not let me use them on anything on offer. I now give it a miss.
Enjoy your stay and have a look on the meals discount board as there is usually lots of meal offers/coupons. There was a free burger or scampi and chips (sorry limited time on internet at the mo so cannot find it for you) at Yate's and we have used the vouchers at the Blackpool ones before no prob.
The free scampi and chips link for Yates is here:

You have to purchase a drink and is valid until 31st July 2011.
I've never had any problem using coupons in the Sainsbury's in Blackpool even though the items are on offer. It is possibly that they know my face and don't read the terms and conditions. I do use the Sainsbury's at St Annes on a weekly basis and the Bispham one about once a month.0 -
just been reading the thread , personally I think the PDF is not "legal" and I would rather if it was no longer posted in the threads
the terms of most say they should not be "reproduced" which compiling them into one sheet is
PDF Site now deleted, sorry folks
Can we leave things at that now please.:):j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0 -
went to mr a's to do the shop and got a £86 shop down to £79 (bear in mind thats 1 week for 4
people, so saved £2.60 on cupons (would have been more but they didnt have half the tings i had cupons for, so looks like shopping at mr t's next week)and saved a bit on the multibuy savings so that was me happy, sa didnt really question any of the cupons apart from the dettol one that wouldnt go through, but took it to cs and they checked the price and gave me the 50p back
so wasnt to bad for a first attempt of cuponing
(if i could get the shopping down a bit more id be happier)
put a recipt though tpc (also gets me 36 points)
and ill be putting to through apg tomorrow (see if i get lucky)*I Love My Stash*Pedro's is getting so big he has his own pen0 -
Yes coupons can be used with staff discount card, I have friends who have. I would give your staff discount card first then the coupons. Coupons are treated like cash. It is like with the Tesco/nectar points you get them for the full amount before any payment.
Wow! - that's great then, some good savings to be had combining both.
Thanks BW - I will pass it onxx
