Iceland is selling 6 rolls of velvet for £2.00 -Bargain with a 50 p off coupon.:D

Just wanted to say thanks for this - got a pack of 6 today and will prob pop back at the weekend for another 6 (as I also spyed Linda M's pretend sasuages for £1 in there too for OH) :T

Must admit I've never used a coupon in Iceland so wondered if they would query it....no problem at all, in fact, the staff in there seem to be more friendly than a number in Mr T's

    interesting reading from coupon star

Is it true that some Grocery Retailers don't accept printable coupons?
It is the official policy of all of the major grocery retailers in the UK to accept printable coupons; however, acceptance is at the discretion of the store manager. Your coupons could be rejected if the retailer suspects that they are duplicated or manipulated in any way.

Some retailers do not accept printable coupons, however in the case of ALDI, LIDL and Netto, this is due to the fact that they do not accept coupons of any kind.

Do all Supermarkets Accept Printable Coupons?
All grocery retailers accept printable coupons. The coupon(s) you printed bearing the SafeCoupons™ logo are genuine and you should feel confident and comfortable handing them to the cashier when you next go grocery shopping. However, if you're unsure of your grocery retailer's policy on acceptance of printed Internet coupons, a quick call to their customer service department will answer all of your questions. Ask for a printable statement of the stores internet printable coupon policy to have for your records. And, if you hear your store won't accept your printable coupons let us know and we'll contact them on your behalf. Please let us know.

How should I handle a reluctant cashier?
If a cashier won't accept your coupons, simply ask to speak with the store manager. If you have a printed copy of their store policy, present them with the copy (or let them know who you spoke to who let you know that printable coupons were accepted there) and let them assess your coupons to ensure that they meet the coupon guidelines they are trained to know. As more and more consumers are printing coupons online and using them at stores around the country, cashiers are getting used to seeing them. But you may simply have hit a cashier who hasn't dealt with them before.

Resist the urge to cave and simply tuck those coupons back into your wallet. If a store's policy is that they won't take the coupons you should contact us and we'll contact the store on your behalf.

How can I use my coupons responsibly in store?
In printing our Client's coupons you are agreeing to use their coupons responsibly. What does this mean?

You agree to use the coupon against the product for which it is intended only.
You agree not to photocopy the coupon
You agree not to manipulate the coupon in any way
Our clients issue coupons because they are one of the best ways to promote their products and for consumers; they are a brilliant way to save money on the products you buy. The store really needs to make sure that they will get the money back for the coupons they accept and so it is important for them to make sure that the coupons are legitimate and used in accordance with the conditions detailed on the coupon. The misuse of our coupons is considered an act of fraud and may result in exclusion from further coupon promotions run by Couponstar.
