with any coupons for free items they should write the value they've taken off for the item on the coupon and/or till number and sign. i was told this was so cash office knows how much the item was when cashing up.not all do it/ bit hit and miss as you've found.
and if the coupon scans for a value ,not many do, you should get the price off that it scans at.

not 100% sure if this is policy across the board but thats how i've always thought it worked

I went to Morrisons today too to buy the WW Pots - I also went to SS checkout but SA wouldn't put mine through at £2.50. Eventually she called the supervisor, who said the same. After pointing out to her that it was a little unfair that I would only get £2.37 and yet the store would be claiming £2.50 she went off to check "higher up". When she came back she was adamant that I could only have the £2.37. At this point I gave up and had to accept what she said. I have, however, made a mental note not to shop there again unless no other option!

Yes, this is what Morrisons always do with coupons I have used in there. I used the WW pots ones the other day and the SA wrote the price of the item on the coupon, I didn't get it for £2.50. I just think if it's free, then I can't really complain, I'm not paying anything for it.

To keep in line with this thread I would prefer to only add the grocery coupons. These coupons are ever changing, pretty short dated and can be found for many a restaurant. Keeping up with all of them would be too time consuming. Sorry :o

I was going to get this yesterday when I was in M's but was no signs saying it was on offer. Is is store specific? or has my store just not put the signs up

Morrisons webste also shows this product on offer
69p each or 2 for £1. It doesn't say when the offer expires though

That's another link to add to my favourites. Cheers. I'm gonna reach the point where I need to add a sub favourites folder in my favourites folder
