    Hello all,
I am posting my query in this thread as on the first page, it mentions the article where Tesco say they will accept Asda Price Guarantee vouchers as well as the link to it..I printed off the article in case my APG voucher was rejected at Tesco's and much to my surprise (yeah right) it was rejected and in fact laughed at.. The CS lady and the Duty Manager said there is no way Tesco's would phrase any article like that and they have never heard of this.. I was too hungry and tired to bother taking it further (I hadn't eaten since midday and been rushing round all day) and I thought I'd call Head Office or something myself as I should have done initially..
However, I also value your experiences having read through so many of them and been helped and guided in so many ways by you so I would like to ask has anyone had their APG vouchers accepted at Tesco's??

    Thank you for any input..

A lot of us on here use asda price guarantees in tesco and yes, they most certainly do accept them.

Go to page 1 and scroll down till you find the email address for the ceo Philip Clarke and send an email to him. One of his minions will reply telling you they have spoken to your store and they will accept them. Make sure you mention the store name and address though and when I got my reply it gave me a contact name at the store in case of problems.

I've just thrown away a bag of potatoes from Tesco too as they were rotten.

If the date is still OK I would take the rotten potatoes back to Tesco ;) Divine retribution :D

When in Ts yesterday I had a lovely SA she was very patient with my 20+ coupons. Had a great shop and saved over £24!
She processed the coupons swiftly and only questionned if I had purchased one - she actually apologised and apologised saying she did trust me but she had to check and she didn't recall seeing this item (Newman bbq thingy). I said it as fine and she went on to explain she'd been in awful trouble for accepting coupons where the product was not purchased. She told me her supervisors are now checking them over and she implied she had quite a dressing down.

I know some people think its okay to stretch the rules and purchase other things which the coupon is not strictly for. Maybe the 'big' people like the supermarket and the food maufacturers may not suffer but it seems to me that the other people involved like us and the SAs will do.

I am delighted when I get a great SA, it makes my essential savings less stressful and I don't want to create the Trouts who make me feel small and embarrassed. I am not a confident person, I have cancer and I'm having chemo. When I can shop I need to do this without hassle nor stress and after not being able to work since November I need to make these savings.

I will do what I have to do and others will have to do what they have to do. I am not telling anyone what they should or shouldn't do - but I needed to express my personal opinion so maybe you might consider my point of view.
:TI've saved £518.70 with mocs and CS since 15 May (yes, I am keeping count!):T

    Afternoon

Just been emailed a link to £1 off BIRDS EYE Catch Fresh (any of 3 varieties). The link has my name in it and I've Printed my limit.
I tried to change the name to see if its a link I can share, but because I've reached my limit I can't tell if it will work.
Would anyone like to try it?

Thats the nicest way I have seen on here of someone putting the point over, it puts to shame all those that go falsley accusing people of fraud/ theft for coupon misredemtion.
Wendy X I wish you well with your chimo treatment. take care.
