Q: Can I use coupons on the self-scan checkouts?
A: No reason why not - but it's advisable to check with the self-scan supervisor to be sure.

So do tesco self scan work with vouchers? and can you use the tesco £5 off £50 on it?

I was just sorting through my coupons for shopping later today and noticed, from tomorrow at Tesco, Fox's Ambers are half price at 68p. I'm sure some people will still have their 25p off voucher, so they will be a good buy at 43p.

    Hello and good afternoon everyone,

just back from my shop at T's and besides having used some mocs I also used 2x £5.00 off a £50.00 shop but I had only spend £70.00 so quite pleased.I had more cs but the cashier wouldnt accept them as one was for morrisons and the other similar to one she had already accepted which I passed on to the next shoppers behind me. But still saved money and therefore happy with the result.

Sainsburys S/scan only let you self scan up to £3 of coupons the cashier can over ride and put more in

spam is only £1 at sainsburys and voucher is worth £2.

does it let you scan 2 of the same on 2 items?

Went to T's...not been for a few weeks, and went to a T's not used for several months....was told only Safe Coupons allowed as had too many people handing over multiple printouts ...stood my ground with Walkers Sensations and Dr Pepper mocs...they took them after I asked to see the manager...that's it for me ...had no probs at Morrisons or Sainsburys these last few weeks....did have a £2 T's own moc for £2 off Persil Small and Mighty so used that and got a 5p off per litre fuel moc as it was one of the products on the promotion and a got a 5p off per litre for spending over £50...so can use them both to get 10p a litre off diesel....this trouble using coupons has been brought about by peeps with handfuls of mocs for same product, was told 1 customer had 10 for same product and obviously had been multi printed( if not photocopied)...all this has done is ruin it for everyone else......OK you might not be having trouble at the T's you are using now, but it will happen and then that will be the end of it.....I used 1 for the Lactofree cheese spread and SA said the Lactofree yoghurts/milk were all taken by 1 customer ( a few weeks ago)....that's all she went in for , she cleared the shelves, then went in the following week and did the same again....she went to same cashier who called supervisor and refused to let her have them, and now the store policy is for Safe coupons only.....I had to explain how I had got the Sensations and been how I had been given the Dr Pepper moc to try the product, both on Facebook and both perfectly genuine......it was only because I had stayed calm and was not going anywhere that they took them as there was huge queue behind me......I can do without this hassle.....this was a large Tesco Extra that had refused all mocs incl the newspaper cond/spends a few years back and now it's back to square one.....Sainsburys for me next week....

    welcome to the thread

    just needed to say:
you'll get a better and quicker response from members if you ask more politely
instead of just posting one question after another with no please/thank yous

as too free spam and such like coupons (unless they scan for a price which they sometimes do)
the coupon is only worth the value of the item your buying
so £1S coupon will be £1 off etc

    great post BS
sounds like you have a right hassle. your store sound like it has a serial abuser of coupons.
sadly this ruins it for us all in the long term:(

    TO NEWBIES/NOT SO NEWBIES

this is why we keep advising not to multi print coupons.
    (this excludes the PDFs obviously)
