Had such a frustrating time at Tesco this morning - cashier wouldn't accept my 75p coupon for Kenco from Couponstar (one sent by post not printed off), even though I'd bought the product. She called the supervisor who said they don't accept those coupons - I disputed this as I've used umpteen in the past. I left the cashier to deduct my other coupons totalling £5.60 whilst the supervisor took me to customer services. She eventually accepted it after making me feel like the worst criminal in history. Got home and scrutinised my bill to find that the cashier didn't deduct the other coupons so I'm £5.60 down. Rang up the store who are supposed to be investigating and ringing me back. Needless to say I won't hold my breath for the call back. Has anyone else had a problem with Mr T and these coupons? It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0

I've got addicted to couponing lately, and I have a query. Is it possible to use coupons for some other thing for which they are not intended, e.g. can I use Dallaglio by sacla sauce 50p off for lets say sacla pesto, or even another sauce not by sacla. Twice I bought Huggies wipes with MOC Huggies nappies, usually I go to self check out and put the coupons myself, sometimes when there's a problem a SA lends a hand. Any experience of using MOC for not designated thing? Thank youIf you feel my post has been useful, " merci" would not go amiss.

hi and thanks for posting your question
this is not approved of on this thread and is counted as misredemption . if supermarkets get to much of this it may even effect the use of coupons instore in future.
so pleease think twice before doing it again.
a short term gain for a small amount of people could lead to a long term loss for all.laddujaddu wrote: »I've got addicted to couponing lately, and I have a query. hi
i've used my sanex coupons in superdrug and sainsburys and had no problems with them scanning. just make sure the right barcode is scanned.
top left id pin
bottom left is the one to scanpollsdolls wrote: »Hi, has anyone had any problems with the sanex coupons? I haven't used any yet, but they look a bit blurred and seem a little smaller than most coupons. Do they scan OK?
I was going to use some in Sainsbury yesterday but I had a gaggle of others so thought I would wait for the next visit.
Re Wilkinsons, I never seem to have any luck with coupons in there.0 -

you have to keep an eye on them, i ALWAYS check my receipt whilst i'mm there, was a bit gutted as i had a 25% off whiskas dry kitten food, but bought the 2kg bag, it doesn't specify the size so should have contested it, but couldn't bbe bothewred by then!!!
my advice is to watch em like hawks, T's can be very funny about accepting MOCs worth while phone CS though!!! i filled in the tesco survey too about how shocking the supervisor treated me, ended up with £30 in girftcards in the end!!!0 -

Why on earth did you go to the CS desk mid way through paying? I would have completed the transaction first that way I would have seen the SA scan the coupons. Sorry to say but I think you've only yourself to blame.0 -
thanks for the lovely post its nice to know the lists are appeciated
SSM lets you print off 2coupons for each product for both supermarkets, whether this is what they intended or a glitch in the system i don't know.Morning all
MT - I love your lists with the prices. They are really useful so a BIG THANK YOU :A:A I am also happy to do this and when I am using a voucher as I always check to see where is cheapest before I go out shopping.
Reading through the other posts, can I clarify is it OK to print out a Sainsburys and also a Tesco voucher from SSM for the same product? Up to now, I have only printed for 1 of the supermarkets and assumed I have had my quota. Haven't tried again as don't want to risk anything.
Thank you for the reminder for newbies pointing out the best place to post for non coupon related. Didn't get on here yesterday and there is so much that is non coupon related again.
Please folks, don't lets loose this thread if it ends up like some of the others, arguing starts and then it ends up not related to the original thread at all.
And finally a big thank you to MT for all her hard work.:A:A
Off to get the Sunday papers and then plan this weeks shopping, using the MOC's that I have printed over the last few days and a quick check for any new ones.0 -
