Hi,
Providing your Auntie is a resident of Westminster, it does sound rather a long time not to have heard anything, particularly as your auntie falls within the 'automatic issue' criteria as she receives the High Rate Mobility Component of DLA.
It would be worth ringing the Parking Permits office on 020 7641 5124 (Mon - Fri – 9am - 6pm) or e-mail them: parkingpermits@westminster.gov.uk
Incidentally as Westminster falls within the London Blue Badge Exemption Area, she should get a white badge in addition to her Blue Badge. The white one being for use in Westminster with the Blue one for use across UK.

I got mine there and then while I waited.
Definitely get in touch with them and find out why it's taken so long."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0 -
In St. Helens, it usually takes a few days, but it can be processed for you on the spot in some circumstances. Six weeks seems a long time to me, especially as renewal forms are only sent out a month before!0

thank you for replies
she called them and they said it was issued and sent out on the 14 of june !!! but she did recieve nothing , so they said that she has to send again 2 photos and application for lost blue badge to be reissued.
the thing is my auntie doesent have photos and she is not able actually to go out for taking new ones , so we have to wait few days until she get better and can go out .0 -

Generally the BB office will only post to the BB holders personal address, one has already gone missing. Ring the BB office and ask under these circumstances whether a nominated person can collect the replacement badge to make sure its delivered to the correct person.
Once you get the new photo's why don't you or someone else pop along to the office, get the badge made in front of you and take it to your auntie, it only takes minutes to make.
That way its 100% secure, and no more BB's go missing !Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Ok good idea, don't forget the ' white badge ' as Tally-Ho said above !Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
