Printing unopen documents in Vista

I have a HP laptop laptop running Windows Vista. When I had XP i was able to highlight several Word documents (Word 2007 and .doc files) and click print and it would open each one in turn and print them off. For some reason, Vista does not like this and I have to open each page individually and print which is very time consuming. Does anyone know what is causing this and how I can over come it

Regards

i've moved onto Windows 7 now but i'm sure 'print' was still an option when you right clicked on a document in Vista.

Some say yes, some say no " It is possible to simply select a group of files using Windows Explorer or its Vista equivalent, right click and select the option to print, and the documents will be printed "

From here you can download, if you wish, an add on, though set a restore point before trying it

If it works, it is probably more useful as you can specify the order they print in

You can specify a bunch of files to print under Windows 7 64bit (pro at least), but only if they are of the same type (IE pics, or text) from the looks of it.
