Big problems with stew :( Help Please

    Removing the veg and chucking the stock would be my very last resort as most of the flavour is out of the veg now so it will taste pretty dull, I think. :(

    You could sieve the stock to remove the herbs. Then taste to check if it still tastes too herby.

    Yes I have taken stock out and put it through a seive the other day, worked a treat.
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Just had the stew and mashed potatoes and i thought it was quite good dispite :)

    Twins scoffed it but there only 15 months and 4 year old is being fussy as normal.

    Added some gravy granules and sugar and seemed to work :)

    Children come first, especially at this time of year so let you off. :) and add alittle more water to the Christmas spirit.
