Bissell Carpet Cleaning Solution - Which One?

Does anyone know of a really good cleaning solution for my new Bissell Powerwash Delux carpet cleaner to be delivered? I am toying with getting a Vax solution as they are so much cheaper but wonder if I am getting into deep water (literally) by using another make's solution. Why is it Bissell advise the Bissell make - is it just a marketing strategy or is there good reason why they advise their own? I don't want to jeopardise my guarantee and do want a good finish so what do I buy? Hope someone out there has good experiences to convey!
