Travel insurance - 2 countries + bungee jumping

Hi there,
In a few days I am off on my hols to Oz and NZ. Three weeks in oz, two in New Zealand. Bit confused about travel insurance and am wondering if someone can help. As I am travelling to two countries, is that two separate trips I am making or do I have to return to the UK for that to be the case.
On top of that I am going to go bungee jumping while away and need hazardous sports cover, the comparison sites i have seen so far don't seem to have this option when searching. Has anyone got any suggestions for a decent company whom I might use?

Try STA travel - they cover adventure activities and I'm sure I've seen bungee jumping specifically covered.0

You've taken an awful risk not having travel insurance as soon as you booked your holiday, what if you'd broken your leg today and couldn't travel, you'd have lost the lot.
I don't think travelling to two countries will be an issue but the fact that it's five weeks means you can't take a standard 31 day policy. There are plenty that insure for longer - 45 or 60 days - but you might have to look a bit harder. As mentioned STA are possible, as are Endsleigh, who cover bungee jumping in their single trip policy (although "1 jump only within professional organiser's guidelines and wearing appropriate protective gear" to quote from their sports and activities section).
Have a great time!0 -
To be fair mate, if your bungee goes wrong you'll not be the one worrying about having to claim.0

Nah, he could be left paraplegic or something like that. Expensive.
Or ruptured spleen, collapsed lungs, etc.

But I guess he'd land on his head so probably not notice any difference.0 -
