Full Terms and Conditions


1. Open to all UK, CI, IoM and RoI residents except employees and their immediate families of VisitScotland, Craigdon Mountain Sports, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. Limited to one entry per household. No third party or bulk entries will be accepted.
3. Entrants under 18 require parental/guardian’s permission to take part & to be awarded prize.

6. To enter simply log on to www.visitscotland.com/surpriseaberdeenshire and register your details. All entries received will be entered into the prize draw to win the following prize: 1 x 3-night stay for 2 adults at the 4-star Rowan Cottage, Glen Tanar Estate, Aberdeen, on a self-catering basis, valid until 31.03.12; 1 x walk for 2 people with Walk Deeside, to prizewinner’s ability; 1 x hour Karting for 2 people and 1 x hour Quad Biking for 2 people with Deeside Activity Park.
7. Prize also includes £200 spending money and £100 maximum travel allowance. Travel allowance will be paid once the prizewinner provides full receipts. Amount payable will be at the Promoter’s discretion and will be to a maximum of £100 in total.
8. The prize does not include any travel insurance, meals or any other expenses and must be taken in full by 31.03.12
9. Full prize redemption excludes Christmas and New Year period.
10. All elements of prize package are non-transferrable, excludes Christmas and New Year period, are subject to date availability, subject to change, are weather dependant and are subject to all prizefund provider standard operator terms and conditions. Additional date exclusions may apply.
11. The prize is as stated, is non-transferrable and no cash or other alternative prize is available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to provide a similar prize of equal or greater value.
12. One winner will be drawn on 05.09.11 at random under independent supervision from all entries received, and will be notified in writing within 28 days of the closing date. The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Prize must be claimed within 28 days of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of the prize and another winner will be drawn.
14. Prizewinner will not be required to participate in publicity.
15. No responsibility can be taken for any entries that are lost or delayed or which are unable to be sent due to Internet connection issues or systems failure or anything else that prevents entries being received. Proof of online entry does not constitute proof of delivery.
