NPower Tariffs
:(
Go Fix 6 .I assumed the tariff was fixed. Its not really a fixed tariff but merely a dicounted rate below the standard tariff fixed to July 12.Thus my switching nightmare from SP continues on the basis that its only a matter of time before NP increase their rates. They do offer a price protector tariff which is fixed(I really mean fixed) until August 2012 but I am now going back to compare against SP's fixed tariff.I have three days to cancel my swich to NP.:mad:

Npower's website certainly strongly suggests the price is fixed: the following is from the T&Cs:
"During the Online Price Control Period our prices for electricity and gas will be fixed at the current prices for your area that you opted for online at sign-up, these being the prices indicated in the Go-Fix 6 offer, applicable to your area on the opening date of the offer. The only exception to this is if any charge or cost is imposed by or as a consequence of any action, order, decision or imposition by any governmental, statutory or licensing authority, and, when added to our charges at the time, this causes our prices to exceed the fixed price."0 -
I certainly hope it is fixed until July 2012!!0

It's very unlikely that you would get correct advice on the phone.
Very difficult for them to keep up with all the offers.0
