I was going to order from them but was curious to find on the checkout page an option to select "recorded delivery" very odd indeed!

further investigation discovered T&C No 19.

Title to any Goods ordered will pass to you once Treedvd.com has received payment in full therefor. Risk in any Goods ordered will pass upon the issue to you of the Despatch Notice.

ALARM BELLS started to ring so I emailed them. It took a while to get a reply to the question - 4 or 5 emails from me 3 from them.

My question was "Do you guarantee delivery" Now I would have thought any sensible person would realise what I meant is..What would you do if delivery did not happen / was not successful?

They admit they do not guarantee delivery! you would expect them to say 'No we do not guarantee delivery but we would refund if it did not arrive' Which they did not say - at first - and this is not implied in their T&C's No 19 (infact quite the opposite IMO is implied). But when I told them I would be reporting them to trading standards - Jersey and on internet message boards, they sent me an email saying they would refund. I have asked them to clear up what they mean in their T&C, I doubt they will. - Edit: Confirmed, they refused to clarify what they mean in T&C No19. and they refused to say what the recorded delivery option is for. And they probably won't be changing it any time soon unless Jersey Trading Standards tells them to.

I advise to proceed (if you must) with caution with Treedvd, others are just as cheap - such as Foxy who have in their T&C "title passes to you upon delivery" far more satisfactory.
