bravo for adams (the kids clothing store)

yesterday a work colleague took me there to get an outfit for chops as she felt bad for not putting in the collection last year when i went on mat.leave as she was on holiday.

anyway we spotted this lovely outfit that they only had one of but the top that went under the pinafore dress some little oik had spilt coke on.

we chose another top to go with it.

bot the outfit and the top were in the sale but adams gave us a further 10% off the already 20% off as a goodwill gesture for the top with coke stains on it.

very nice of them, and if i can get the stains off then ive got two tops!
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

I used to work for Adams, they really are a customer friendly company, or they were when i worked there, we used to have lots of training just to make sure we were aware of customers needs and always helpful and friendly.
Also they did tell us how much we could knock off on own own judgement for various reasons, even saturday girls had the power to do this, and the same with refunds no running to get a manager, saturday staff, part timer ect all allowed to do them.

the stain came oout too so bravo all round except the dress wont do chops for long. i forgot that last time i brought from adams i found their clothes, or some of them, a little small. still she looked lovely in it.

and also, why other cos dont do this, adams put elastic adjustable waist straps in their trousers which is a fab idea. especially when you have a chunker in some places who resembles a skinned rabbit in others.

  • I agree with the elasticated waist anthill, i can never get anything from places like next and gap as my 3 yr old is more the size of a six year old, so adams is great for me. I do have to say that tescos do them and their clothes are very generous in size!

I went into adams yeaterday and bought 8 pairs of shorts for £8, 2 pairs of flip flops for £2 and loads of t-shirts! They'll do just great for our holidays! Thanks ADAMS!

I used to work for them too. They have a great refund policy and we were always told to give the customer the benefit of the doubt (although we fought our corner against the stroppy ones!)
