2007 comping challenge

Yeahhhh! Just been to the post office to collect my jessica simpson bag - its a proper leather one and when I looked on internet it is worth around £130, so I have completed my challenge already - and more as I have received a letter from Puzzler saying that i had won a Samsung Camera phone (not sure which one this is yet though).

Big thank you to everyone on this site for sending answers in and congratulations to everyone else who have achieved their targets. If you haven't yet, or haven't won much yet, just keep at it. I thought I wasn't going to win anything when I started, and it was slow at first, but won four lovely prizes in the space of 2 weeks.

Well, it's my 2 month anniversary today (discovered this section of the board and started entering on April 11th) and I'm nearly half way there!:j

I must actually be over half way, I just haven't received everything yet and added it in to my total.

I realise I've had a great winning streak which could end any time now, but even if I win nothing for the rest of the year, I've still offset a large chunk of my interweb costs.:D

So, a big thanks to all the posters, & hopefully this will encourage sone of the folks who are thinking it's too late to join the challenge!

Hi there, I was hoping to join in too, it's such a great idea. My Broadband is with Talk Talk so its 'free' but my goal will be the same amount as my outstanding credit card bill - £500. Wish me luck!

Welcome Kochanski, you have set yourself quite a challenge for just half a year. Having said that, most of us have been amazed by how much we have won. Its lovely to have new members and I hope you soon feel part of things here.

OK - late starter, I'm going to try to win back my internet money in what remains of 2007!

I pay £215.40/year for the pleasure of t'internet and I've won 2x Stickfas (about £5/each) and a lip gloss from miss sporty so about £200 to go!

Can I join in?? I sort of have done already, in that I have posted when I have won things and managed to find 1 (yes 1!!) competition that hadn't yet been posted!!

I started entering comps on here in Feb/ March and since then have had some brilliant wins - mostly concert tickets which I am made up with (and have been able to go to them all!! )

I finally got around to editing my signature today and couldnt believe the value of the things I have won in just a couple of months!!

I think that it is brilliant the amount of time people invest in finding competitions and the success rate of MSE members is something else!! Long may it continue!!

On Saturday, I won a VIP family trip to HMS WARRIOR in Portsmouth to celebrate its 20th year since home-coming. This also includes things on the day look a goodie bag which I do not know the value of just yet and all refreshments are laid on to. This is for the 17 June but we will not tell our daughter until the day , entry fees for hubby, daughter and I are roughly £20.00 and also on Saturday I won £10 in a local crossword competition.

So now my wins for the challenge

colour in skirt £25, Cars DVD £13, Night at the Museum goodie bag £60
crossword competition £10, VIP trip to HMS Warrior at mo £20 but will add on extras.

Comping Challenge £360, won so far £128, slowly getting there.
