  • Well I thought it was going to be a nsd as I was invited to a "lock in" at the visitors centre of the local brewery & was told the drinks were free.

Unfortunately that only applied to draught beers & as I am on-call & could be required to drive into work I had to stay on soft drinks & they were charging £1.50 for a 250ml bottle.

    Total spend £9

Evening all. I'm too depressed to tot up what I spent today. It was twice what it should have been due to some bar steward stealing my shopping bag and my wallet :(

Add to that another 30/60 quid for parking ticket when I got back, it just doesn't bear thinking about :(

    Happy Christmas All.

i spent about £10 (can't be exact as i don't remember what the shopping came to to the penny)

£7 in tesco's on a joint of lamb, a bag of sweets (normally banned in our house, but as it's xmas i've allowed it this once), some colouring pens and some xmas shaped foam thingys to stick on the xmas hats i was making with the kids this afternoon..

plus 2x scratch cards and a lucky dip for wednesday.. figured with it being xmas i'd try my luck! and both scratch cards lost!lol

Thanks Kaz, she is funny, I haven't had a pup this young before and she is so LIVELY. She is currently in her bed, want her to get used to it before I go to bed as she keeps crying, but I don't allow the other upstairs and not starting it now. Worked with the other putting him there for short times during the day aswell as at bedtimes. My friend rescued her from the hands of a guy with her in one hand an air rifle in the other, she was not wanted as the woman who got her's son developed an allergy, but because of the other 3 dogs she had couldn't keep her so we're giving it a go. Must be the stupidest thing I have ever done! But will be worth it in affection I am sure.

DP is busy busy busy at work, just put the boys to bed, youngest been a nightmare all week, so overexcited.
