Many thanks for this, I was accepted instantly. Will just go and see if Quidco tracked ok...
Also, sorry to sound thick, but the 0% comission on purchases abroad, does that mean that literally any spends on your card abroad (in shops etc) will have no charge at all made?
When I looked into the PO card before, it was because it didn't charge currency conversion fees when you make overseas purchases as most cards do. I thought maybe that bit out 0% commission was an odd way of referring to the conversion fees? Don't know for sure, though.0 -
tcb still not tracked for me either, applied tuesday evening.0

TCB not tracked yet (applied Wednesday). Not concerned yet as some do take time to come through.

Tried to submit a cash back claim on quidco as more than 3 days ago that I applied. You need your credit card number (last 4 digits) before you can submit a claim. So you need go wait for the card59 arrive first.0

A heads up for those who are self-employed and/or live in this century and do their banking and pay their taxes online
They are making me work for my £50! They want four pieces of information, including bank statements (all mine are online) and proof of income like a pay slip (I don't have one, since I am self employed). My HMRC return is also online. In order to get my documents "certified" I guess I go up the Post Office with my laptop and show them the "original" PDF? How else can I prove my income if I don't have a printed piece of paper?:rotfl:
I understand money laundering regs etc but this is ridiculous. I've never ever been in debt, been with the same bank 25 years, living in the same house 30 years, have a nice wodge of savings and yet they want me to jump through so many hoops which I simply can't do in my circumstances.
Luckily I know the people up the Post Office so they will be sympathetic. But is it any wonder the PO is struggling when it's such a bureaucratic nightmare that doesn't live in this century (the online world)? It will be with some glee I receive the £50 cashback and cut up their card... if I ever get either...

Very odd, l have not recieved junk mail before from the Post Office but guess what pops through the door today, a letter addressed to me trying to sell me OVER 50 insurance, how dare they l have some years to go yet.
I am certain l have not recieved junk mail from the PO before, until now, just a few days after applying for the credit card.
Seeing the PO logo on the letter l thought it was a decision on my application, but no, not yet0
