Another problem is each entry on your credit history includes the DOB you supplied on your application. If there are mismatches it is likely that any future application for credit will be kicked out to be checked by a human instead of going through on the computer. It won't necessarily mean you are refused credit but it will at the least slow the process down, and you might be asked to send in extra documents.0

Well I'm an 18 yr old student and my first credit card was with Capital one and guess how much credit they gave me...........£2500!!!!
Luckily I'm sensible with my money but is it any wonder so many people are in debt....0 -
Lopo: By the way...all original application forms are kept on record. They normally take images which are retained so all this could well come back and bite you in the future

£2500! You working and studying at the same time? You must make a lot of money that they'll give you £2500 or the people in underwriting department thought it was a joke.I know nothing0 -
I worked out that I was earning just under £4000 a year. Only part time....0
