Charity cycle ride through africa

Ok so next october 2012 i will be cycling from nairobi in kenya through to moshi in tanzania in the name of macmillan cancer along with 59 other people. Ive been touched by this as my dad died of cancer last december and ive been looking at ideas to raise money and decided to go all in on this.

Im a big fan of football and so was my dad which lead me to think would be feasible if i was to write to every football club in the country asking them to donate something so i could then sell it on ebay and raise money that way its just an idea i had but not sure whether that sort of thing would be allowed as im new to all this.

Any help/tips would be gratefully recieved.

Good luck with the ride but the Premier League teams won't give anything as they have there own charities that they provide to.

Why not speak to McMillian and ask who there biggest sponsors are and then approach them yourself or ask McMillian to do it for you.
