well im paying for them, never knew about free ones! I just went to list another item and computer said no!

Right - so if you are paying for your listings then you have a business seller account. It seems likely you have some sort of sanction on it - possibly due to you being a new account.

If you are using a private account but in fact running a business then change it over to a business account now. You'll need to have a clear returns policy and your geographic address displayed.

Once you have a proper business account, make sure you have a card on file to pay your fees automatically. Then once you have been trading for a few weeks contact ebay and ask them to lift the new user restrictions.

remember also to register with HMRC

It could still be a private one as OP isn't listing at 99p so would pay for listings anyway (especially when she uses BIN auctions)

Only listings at 99p and below and auctions are free to list for private sellers all the time (and restricted to 100 per month).

If you check your listings, in the box on the right hand side it will say 'business seller' if you are.

Before someone else says it, if you are making to resell then you are a business seller and should register as such both with Ebay and HMRC.

Yes - Of course! I was momentarily thrown by her mentioning the 100 limit...:rotfl:
