Help please with SAR

Options
I would be grateful for the following informtion on who I send the SAR to.

I had a loan with Prestige Finance but seems to be through a broker of some sort called Further Advance but he same address as Prestige. After a year I paid that off with another bigger loan again with Prestige but this time through loans.co.uk. In both cases I paid PPI which I didnt knwo I had and after looking at the documents I have been able to find there is a pre filled in form saying I wanted PPI - anyway I will fight that bit later.

So do I send the SAR to Prestige or to the 2 brokers?

Thanks in advance for any help....

    Hi

I understand the broker would have sent copies of all paperwork to the lender, so I would send the request to the lender, good luck.

    Thanks!

I have now sent SAR's to 2 lenders and lets see what they come back with. The big thing I have learnt here is to check, double check and read and reread the paperwork. I can tell from what paperwork I have that I paid PPI upfront that supposedly only covered me for 3 years on a 20 year loan. I also distinctly remember speaking to the guy on the phone saying I didnt need insurance as it cost more and as I was in debt I was looking for a loan as cheap as possible.

    hey there,
dunno if it will help you but I had the same situation with AA finance, I initially sent my SAR to the borker and then the company providing it, they both sent me back to the AA who are now processing my claim. good luck sounds like you have a good case :) x
