Charity Account Advice

We are filling the annual accounts for 2006.

1) During this year we have managed to successfully bid for grants with the assistance of consulatants. Obviously the consultants had 10% of the payment for their fees. How do we show these on our annual expenditure sheet? do we place it as Consultantcy Fees or under a different heading

2) Also we had to get a Janitor/Labour to carry out some cleaning and maintenance for the property. What does this expenditure come under?

If you have your accounts checked over by anyone before filing, I'd take their advice on these two.

But I know we have a heading for 'Professional Fees' on ours.

I presume the cleaning / maintenance of the building will be an ongoing cost, so I'd have a heading for it, myself.

I stress I'm not an expert in this area! When the experts come along, I'll duck ... :rotfl:
