will my dro affect my parents?

Hi,

I am trying to work out whether a dro would be the best solution to my current financial probs and I cant seem to get a straight answer from my DMP people (I'm with one of the free ones!)

My main worry is that i have had to move back to my parents and would be here for at least a year, while the dro goes through, if I do this my Dad s convinced my insolvency will affect his credit rating and affect my mums job? Now I didnt think that when checking credit files etc someone living at the same address would be flagged up? I thought it was only if you had or have had shared financial things? which obv I never have with my parents? He is certain all they check is your surname and postcode, so I would be really grateful if someone could let me know for definite if he is right or if I am! So that I can get myself sorted!

I've been paying into a DMP for four years and due to loosing m job in january I now owe even more, rent arrears, C tax arrears and now final bills for elec and water.... on top of this I have found work (winter for a tour operator in the alps... badly paid but majority of living expenses covered, would still leave me below the £50 spare income) This summer I intended to work as many hours as possible and clear as much of my £9K debt as I could before december, but I have only found a part time job and none of the 40 cleaning, waitressing, cooking p/time jobs have even got back in touch, so I'm still only earning £500 a month...

sorry for rambling... trying to sort myself out a bit and get it all clear in my head!

I have posted on your other thread - your Dad has nothing to worry about if you do a DRO.
