The bonus will automatically be paid for all benefits ..but you must let them know if you receive more than one ....I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

Only get the one - mine goes on fuel for the motor
I was reading something in the Sun (was at the hairdressers) today about the bonus and how it hasn't changed amount since it started.

Late 70's I think, it was first for the state pension to give OAPs something extra (with the state pension being less back then).
I hope its not to cover Yuletide  it wouldn't even get me round the shops lol.
Could be worse I suppose :j Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :j0 -
Yep, £10 only once regardless of number of qualifying benefits. It does sometimes get paid for 2 if they are not linked correctly.
The best example of an "extra" that's never been increased is the extra 25p that pensioners get each week once they are 80. Whoo hoo.0 -

if a Mrs. Y receives IS and DLA (both attract the xmas bonus), Mrs. Y will still only get £10.
*edit*if a Mrs. Z receives IS and her son, who is on her IS claim, gets DLA (both attract the xmas bonus), Mrs. Z will get £20 (£10 on IS for Mrs. Z and £10 related to Mrs. Z's son).
although please correct me if i am wrong.
You do not get the Christmas bonus if on IS.
Here is a list of the benefits which you need to be on to get the bonus
Attendance Allowance
Bereavement Allowance
Constant Attendance Allowance
Disability Living Allowance
Incapacity Benefit at the long-term rate
Pension Credit
Industrial Death Benefit
Carers Allowance
Mobility Supplement
Severe Disablement Allowance
State Pension
Unemployability Supplement or Allowance
War Disablement Pension (if aged 65)
War Widow's Pension
Widowed Parent's Allowance
The bonus was brought in at a time when £10 was enough to buy Christmas dinner.0 -
And to add to the confusion for some people, if you claim DLA for a child and get CA yourself you get two effectively, one for your child and one for you.0

You get one Xmas bonus for each person who qualifies for it.To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0

It should be paid automatically at the beginning of Dec.
