Lloyds Preference Shares - How do I sell them?

Hi,
I found a certifcate for 400 of these in a draw, I think they were issued as part of a building society conversion.

How do I sell them?

Are they in your name? Are they registered at your current adderess?

They were worth around £400 with a good dividend a couple of years ago, the current price is approx. £260 and no dividend. They are just like normal shares, i've got them in an online nominee account. If you don't have an online account, contact Equiniti their registrars who may advise best way to sell certificated shares.

Would you suggest keeping them for the time being or getting rid of them? I'm in no dire need for the money.

Like yourself, they didn't cost me anything, so i'm going to keep them. Their price shadows the price of LloydsTSB, but is less volatile. They won't rise much in price until LloydsTSB get the tax payer off their back and return to paying dividends.
