I have just finished my first year and Im in dire need of a job. Im doing some temp work over the summer but need something for when september comes around. I'm 24 and have a near 2 year old daughter. Im studying law, so only have around 9 hours of classes a week but am easily doing 30 hours a week independent work. the problem is i can't really do much physical work due to health problems. i couldn't do an 8 hour shift in a bar or restaurant constantly on my feet. i physically couldn't do it. even shop work would be difficult plus have zero retail experience. i could sit on the tills at a supermarket but never even get so far as an acknowledgement of my application due to have only ever done office work. I have looked for part time office work but there really isn't much in the area, it all seems to be full time.
just wondering if any moneysavers have any ideas to earn a bit of money that would fit round studying and a toddler. i have done surveys and stuff but you earn about 3p an hour doing them. most office based things advertised towards students are unpaid. im not going to physically work myself harder for no money (i think i have enough on my plate) unless it was directly beneficial towards my end career.

I assume that you're a lone parent, but do say if I'm wrong.
Are you claiming LHA/HB because, if you are, any additional earnings will affect this, however, if you can manage 16 hours per week, you can claim WTC as well.0
