Oh Mr Fishbulb, you disappoint me! :P Not you too Brutus!

Pretty, pretty please, can we not turn the forum into a Google+ invite fest, like what happened to every forum I posted in back in the days of the original Gmail "google invite" hype campaign.

It's just a cunning marketing ploy designed by psychologists to manipulate us. It's like the lines for new Apple products or for exclusive nightclubs - they'd hire people to queue in order to boost the appeal, if they don't already do that. "Wow that product seems exclusive, I want in!"

If Google+ is a FaceBook-alike, then are there any invitations which positively prevent you from ever having this software foisted upon you? Fairly-ugly please? :D

Actually, thinking about it, if I have to ask people for an invite to Google+ that means I'm not going to know anyone on there. Wouldn't be much social networking going on.

    Exactly :)

And all the people with leftover invites asking if anyone needs them, shows they don't know enough people either ;)
