Is there any where nice to get dinner about 6pm near Junction 1?

    Check out The Ramble Inn.
Its a pub that does good food, and its on your way to Ballymena.

Antrim Park (Brewer's Fayre) seems to have a reasonable menu. Moes Grill appears to be reasonably priced but I can't view their menu.

I have found the menu, http://www.moesgrill.co.uk/index.php?location=antrim&moesgrill=menu.

Aquarium is very good we really enjoy it (that's 2 'grown ups' btw). The Quays in portavogie is good for food but not the way ur going.

Moes grill is nice, American sort of food I think.

What is there for a couple and an elven year old child to see and do in Antrim and Strangford? The child wants to go on the Strangford ferry, to see a castle and a waterfall. Going in a fortnights time for two days and one night.

Nothing in Antrim and Strangford but rats. Try http://www.lurganpark.com/

We were in Moe's yesterday evening, and I have to say I was surprised by how pricey it was - £35 for 2 main courses and 2 soft drinks seems pretty extortionate to me, particularly since one of the main courses was a very basic chicken dish, and the chips were obviously frozen ones.

Ramble Inn is now closed and a huge for sale sign up. No idea what's going on?

There is also the National Trust property of Mount Stewart which is not too far from the ferry on the Portaferry side. And if the kid wants to see a castle then Carrickfergus is the best option.

If you're travelling up towards Comber, the is Daft Eddies at Skettrick & further up,the's the Balloo House. Both places do great food.

I agree with Quays Portagovie and Daft Eddies being delicious, two of my fav restaraunts, definately recommend either:) As for Carrickfergus Castle, hard to beat :). What about the Ulster Museum in Belfast, it's recently been refurbed and kids seem to enjoy it. I've also heard that Scrabo Tower is good.
Also, theres the Butterfly Farm in Seaforde if your child would be interested in that.
