Triplewax Liquid Gold Self drying car shampoo. Although I am happy with my Zymol our daughter had mentioned she had good results with this so I bought a bottle from the supermarket.
First thing is they state 4 capfulls to a 2 gallon bucket of water which means a 6 quid bottle is not going to last long. . As I can wash the Golf with less than a gallon I made up half.
The sales point for this product is that you do not need to leather off after hosing the shampoo off as the label says it self drys , supposedly streak free.
It foamed up well in the bucket and removed all the bird splats etc very well, one thing was obviously apparent was that a lot of dirt came off on the wash glove and sponge , they had to go straight in the washing machine afterwards.
After washing I well hosed it down as required and left it to self dry. I have to report the final results were not good. It basically did what it says but there were areas where it left streaks which showed on the dark grey finish also the glass was well spotted.
OK a light rub got the marks off the paint and glass but to me the biggest downer was the paint did not feel squeaky clean, it had a tack to it which to me said it would not stay as clean as a properly washed and dried car but would grab the dust.
Cannot recommend this product I am returning to the Zymol.

Thanks for the review.
I have boxes full of car care chemicals in the garage. Most of the stuff I've bought and decided it's utter crud and not worth the effort of using again. I save it for cleaning and maintaining the bikes or cleaning a relatives car if they insist I wash it for them. The man without a signature.0
