Old wires and cables, what to do with them?

Doing a big clear out at the moment, and have found loads of old computer wires and cables. I have no use for them, but at the same time am at loath to throw them away. Anyone know what I could do with them.

I guess I could take them to a charity shop, but any other ideas?

Oh, should add, thought about ebaying, but they will not really fetch anything (i.e. they won't fetch anything).

To be honest, I ALWAYS keep any old cables of this sort, you never know when they may come in handy,
I have justmanaged to sort out as friends computer network with the spare cable that i keep in a box. just for this sort of occasion

Got to agree with Lee they don't take much storing and they are really expensive not to mention elusive on a Friday night when your mate has a problem with their set up! I keep all mine in a box in the loft
