Aaaargh Parclenet

I hate them, I hate them, I hate them:mad:
I ordered some books as gifts on the 16th, the delivery was due between 20-22 Dec. I started getting worried yesterday, so I contacted Amazon. I was assured that they had been dispatched but Parclenet had a backlog and that they were delayed but I would definatley get them before Christmas. I decided to phone again, this time asking to get in touch with Parclenet, lovely girl gave me a tracking number and their phone number.
I phoned them to be passed around to different people, and was finally told that my parcel was sat in my local depot and that they didn't know why it hadn't been delivered:eek: SO what am I supposed to do now? I actually said that to him, he didn't seem to care much, and just said that he would try to get in contact with them in the morning-Fat lot of good that is. They were being delivered to my parents house, because I knew I wouldn't be in, they stayed in the house for several days, tomorrow they can't because they have to do their Christmas shop.
So if I don't get them, I'm screwed. Its presents for 3 people, I am really busy tomorow, so am unable to go out shopping for new items
UPDATE: Well, I still haven't received my books, no-one has phoned me back- they said they would, and Amazon said its out of their hands, thet they can't phone them but are allowed to email them. So, am out tomoz to see if I can face the hoards trying to get these books:( If anyone wants Parclenet's number (for future reference)here it is- apparently its hard to get hold of 0845 9000 110
