Topside beef

Ok tomorrow I am collecting the beef for Christmas dinner, kids and DP dislike turkey, someone suggested on a previous thread to cook in a roasting bag, are there any other ways ? I forgot to look for roasting bags today but am willing to have a look tomorrow if there is any left if that is the best way. Do I need to do…

It certainly wasn't what I was expecting to be having for dinner either! Not trying to rub it in .... but it was yum!

I used the Jamie Oliver recipe as a base but with slightly different veg (put chunked swede & potatoes in too).

When I took the beef out to "rest", I whacked the temp up on the oven again and crisped the veg off ..... quite pleased for a 1st attempt! (and I'd certainly do it again if I see another one reduced to a reasonable amount!)
