The prize is a cheque for £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds) made payable in the name of the winner only and a seven-night trip to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida for five (5) people (the “Universal Orlando trip”), including return premium economy flights via Virgin Holidays from the international airport nearest the winner’s UK home address to the airport in Orlando, return private towncar ground transfers from the airport in Orlando to the hotel, return transfers between the hotel and Universal Orlando, hotel accommodation at either the Hard Rock hotel or at another hotel within the Universal Orlando complex based on five (5) people sharing one or two Club Level rooms (as determined in the sole discretion of the provider of the Universal Orlando trip) including continental breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine and sweets during select hours as specified by the provider of the Universal Orlando trip, Universal Express passes (which is the hotel room key and provides access to other selected services as specified by the prize provider), seven-day passes for two (2) parks, i.e. Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and a one-day pass for a non-exclusive VIP tour of the two (2) parks. Some events at the either of the two (2) parks may be excluded.
The Universal Orlando trip must be booked no later than 60 days prior to the winner’s preferred date of travel and travel must be completed no later than 17 July 2012, subject to availability and confirmation, except that the Universal Orlando trip may not be taken up on or around any other dates as may be specified by the provider of the prize, the airline and/or their agents. Booking is subject to availability.It is the responsibility of the winner to contact the provider of the Universal Orlando trip within the time frame specified to confirm their travel arrangements.
The Universal Orlando trip excludes any additional accommodation, UK and other ground transportation and/or travelling expenses, parking costs, car hire, any additional meals and drinks, supplementary charges, excursions, treatments including but not limited to spa treatments, telephone calls including local and long distance telephone calls, room service, mini-bar goods, spending money, visas, personal items, merchandise and souvenirs, tips and gratuities, storage and/or storage fees, mis-delivery costs, supplementary products and services, incidental costs, expenses, taxes and any insurance, including but not limited to car, travel and medical insurance, and any other costs, charges, taxes or expenses not included in the prize.
The winner and their companions must hold a full and valid current passport (valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK) to travel to the USA, travel insurance which covers any overseas medical costs which may be incurred during the Universal Orlando trip, and any and all relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to the USA including but not limited to making a timely application for receipt of ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) authorization under the Visa Waiver Program. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the responsibility of the winner to organise insurance for the travelling party. Where the winner’s companions are under 18 years old they must have prior permission from a parent or legal guardian, and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Where the winner is under 21 years old, the winner must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over to check into the hotel. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and/or their companions adhere to the local laws in Florida, USA including but not limited to the legal age limit for buying, drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages which is 21 years or over.
· PRTS Phone - call 09012 93 33 33 and follow instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number. Each call costs no more than £1.03 from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will be invited to stay on the line on their second call to enter the competition a third time without additional charge. The entrant’s third entry must be made on the second call from that phone number. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 entries limit.
· SMS text – send a SMS text to 83336 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 6 entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the competition via SMS a second time using the same mobile number to receive an additional entry into the competition without charge. Entrants who then send a second SMS text with their answer to 83336 by the competition closing date and time will be entered into the draw three (3) times for a chance to win the prize. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s first two (2) SMS text entries costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.
