Sealing Mosaic Tiles

At the moment I am putting Mosaic Tiles around a newly fitted wash hand basin.
These tiles, we were told are very pourous, so they will need to be waterproofed. My question is, seeing that I have a quantity of UniBond PVA, would this be suitable to do the job ?
regards
Bob

No Bob it won't I'm afraid. First of all it will just sit on the surface and leave a sticky film. Secondly the moment it gets wet it will go "live " again.
Lithofin Stainstop Plus or similar is what you want. Seal after tiling then seal again after grouting.

keystone Many thanks for your input.
You make a valid point in that when it gets wet, as it would, it would become "live" again, and become sticky.
I will follow your constructive advice, and again Many Thanks.
