Can a British student get a student loan to study abroad? My daughter currently doing A Levels wants to apply to university in Spain but she'll need a student loan. Advice?

No. However, she could do a course at a British university and spend a year at a Spanish university under the ERASMUS scheme and be supported throughout.0

The only student loan available for study in Spain is from the Bank of Mum and Dad.0

There are agreements between EU countries, at the least they have to offer the same fees as they do to home students. There is more information on the EC website, including a link to the Spanish education department. This is in Spanish, so you might have to get your daughter to read it!"Every single person has at least one secret that would break your heart.
