Hi
I believe santa is bringing me an xbox 360 for christmas and i would like to play it online.
Im currently in the process os switching my broadband package to Sky Mid which has a 40gb a month limit. It comes with a free wireless router.
I would like to set it up so that the router is in the room with the telephone but my PC and xbox are going to be in another two seperate rooms. ( I currently run a long cable from my telephone point to my pc). What I would like to do is have it that both are wireless. I don't want to have to open up the case of my pc so i think i would need these usb connection antenna things. So my two questions are.
1. Is 40 GB enough of a limit for gaming online on the xbox? Wouldn't be used constantly only a few hours a week.
2. My sky broadband comes with a free wireless router, what other gear would i need to get to get the pc and xbox running wireless?
Thanks for your help in advance

you would need the wifi adapter which is about £60 for the xbox, and a apdater for the computer
for the xbox you would need this and for the computer you would need something like this0 -
does xbox live work with sky broadband? Wifi adaptor is unnecessary. Try spending £5 on an ethernet cable, most wireless routers have a port for a wired connection to the xboxformerly mrmilo690

Online gaming uses between 5mb and 15mb per hour of play, so dont worry about your download limit.
As for connecting the xbox you will need to do one of the 3 things below:
1) Wireless dongle for PC & Xbox
2) Ethernet cables for PC & Xbox
3) Ethernet/Wireless dongle for PC, then Ethernet cable from Xbox to PC
Obviously you can mix 1 & 2, ie wireless for xbox & cabled PC or wireless PC and cabled xbox.0
