Is there any way to buy postage online and print it at home, then post it in the post box AND get proof of postage? Maybe using the Paypal Seller Protection?
Thank you.
Thank you.

No, you have to post at the PO or have a courier company collect to get a valid proof of postage, even the ones you print with payapl postage you have to get stamped at a post office. Is there any way to buy postage online and print it at home, then post it in the post box AND get proof of postage? As above , no.
Also not entirely sure what you mean by this line 'Maybe using the Paypal Seller Protection?' as that is what requires you to have proof of posting to cover most paypal claimsI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As you have no way of proving you actually put the item in the post box.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,

This is what I thought, but from searching I got a little confused due to some people referencing it ambiguously. So thought I should check.
Looks like this is done and dusted. I assume there are no other alternatives - I'm sending ~10 items a week, <250g, first class at the moment and it's tricky to get to my local PO.

Proof of posting would only cover your for chargebacks, which are extremely rare, for INR you'd need online tracking which only special delivery provides with some reliability.
Unless you feel your items may be targeted by scammers it may not be worth you wasting time going to the PO, particularly if you can use the time saved to list/sell more, and compensate in that way.0 -
You strangely seem to have missed the main reason for having proof of posting which has nothing to do with Paypal. The fact you are covered for loss/damage up to £46.terra_ferma wrote: »Proof of posting would only cover your for chargebacks, which are extremely rare, for INR you'd need online tracking which only special delivery provides with some reliability.
