Buildings insurance

I just followed the instructions and got a quote for buildings insurance from Liverpool and Victoria that was incredibly cheaper than my renewal from Zurich (£86 vs £240). It is so cheap I can hardly believe it. My house is worth £250k (although they give £500k automatically) and is in Manchester. Does anyone have any experience of this? I want to know if it is really true or if I have made a stupid mistake somehow! Thanks.

Make sure that you answered correctly and truthfully about the security questions before accepting the quote.
The ones I mean are typical like do you have a working intruder alarm, do you have window locks etc and the type of locks on any door to the property.
Also make sure that you are comparing like for like.
Do you for example have accidental damage on your existing policy and is this on the new quote0 -
I got a quote from L&V too, it was way more than my renewal from the Halifax, which was £198 with accidental damage for a 5 bed house.0
