is CPP the same as PPI ???

Hi ,just wondered if anyone can help me,ive taken cpp on a few credit card in the past due to someone ringing me and pressurising me to take it out with all the normal bull about stolen cards ect .
Since having my children from 1998 ive only ever worked part time at the local pub so im sure any insurance i would of taken wouldnt of covered me but im not sure if this is covered with cpp??
I ve rang a couple of my credit card companys up to make sure ive had it and i definitely had it ,thanks for your replys in advance x

    It sounds like Credit Card Protection to me which isn't PPI.

    No, cpp card protection plan isnt PPI you can have card protection from 18-80 on benefits or work full timeand it doesnt just protect your credit cards it protects all of them debit.. store memberships also your house/car keys drivers licence passport. iv made a claim with them before when my handbag was stolen there really helpful :) hope iv been of some assistance. :p
