Does anyone here use Gumtree much? I thought I'd give it a bash to get rid of the last few bits I had left over from my last eBay session.

I listed a few things yesterday and they're still showing as inactive/processing. I've been trying to edit one of the ads all day and I keep getting the same message that I have to wait 3-4 hours for my ads to go live. But I created them over 24 hours ago! I can't see that I've broken any of their ad rules. Does it normally take this long to get approved?

Mine tend to go live straight away and i usually have a few ads running. However I have actually only ever sold two items through Gumtree, both to absolutely charming local people who came to collect (i was stricts about cash on collection) . I tend to get a lot of scam emails though.

Don't bother emailing them....there is a problem / glitch at the moment.

I have listed maybe 20 things over the last 5 days and most of them have taken over a day to go live. You can not edit them either until they go live (whereas a week or so back you could!) They do go live but will stay as 'processing' for a good while.

All mine are now live except the ones I have done this morning. I suspect they will go live tomorrow pm.

Some of them have even gone live straight away and were then removed after 10 mins and just stated 'processing' and then went live again a day later.....LOL
