It's raining
too wet for running or kayaking. Not really very nice for going anywhere...
Think I might go and take the kayak off the car roof anyway, and see whether I feel like putting on outdoor clothes and going into town. Apparently it will be raining for the rest of the week, so I may resort to doing some work!0 -

Hello all
Happy Birthday Dancemum and Good Intentions :bdaycake::bdaycake:
I'm trying to get my head round being at home on my own, having had Mr LW to chat to for the last couple of weeks, and I'm not liking it one bit!
Still, we ate our Frog - got my appointment for a blood test (rheumy instructed me to get one a good month in advance of my next visit to her, which is in early September) so I'll be going at 07:40 on 14th July - it has to be when Mr LW can take me (even if I had my own transport, I'm not safe to drive after a blood test). He's on late shift that day, so he'll be able to dump me back at home and zip off to work and still be there on time.;)

Why does everything have to be so blooming complicated? Grrrrr. Got to change the address of my bills account to be the one of the new flat before I can have the broadband come out of it, which means that unless they do it instantly in branch (does anyone know? Lloyds TSB) I can't really do much with regards to bills because I don't know where my billing address is! Such a faff.
Painter has successfully broken the lock on the bathroom window. Good job the window is too tiny to fit anyone throughexcept maybe a small child...

Hello strangers! Remember me ?! Thought I might come back if I'm allowed ? Life is all good here but housework seems to be a long forgotten art so I need a bit of a kick up the bum please
Lovely to see so many familiar names on here still , hope everyone is doing well. As I said life is pretty good here. DS is now 8, about to finish Y3 and doing ok at school. If you remember he was diagnosed with Aspergers, ADHD and Tourettes last year. The tics have reduced a lot, that part is well under control, the concentration and tantrum issues are still big but we are ok. DD1 is 6 and about to finish Y1, she is such a star, helps round the house, very easy child! And asbo baby continues to rule the roost, only last night she broke her bed:mad:..... she is now nearly 4 would you believe! But as she is a September born she wont start school for another year, which is just as well as she's not ready. And no I am not having any more, 3 is plenty thank you very much. Ive been doing loads of volunteering etc and am on a massive exercise drive to lose the weight - about a stone and a half gone already :T
Thats it from me for now. Need to get a shower following this mornings training then off to pick op DD2 and go for a meeting at school. Will pop back later hopefully having done something constructive.
Oh, one question. I presume "eat a frog" is do something youve been putting off/really dont want to do etc etc, only I am vegetarian:rotfl:
Anyway I think I will start by eating a frog and going to the bank to deposit a cheque Ive had in my purse for 3 months:o

Morning!
Just back from work. Been spoilt with flowers, card and hair stuff as well as the day out they gave me on Sunday. I had my palms read on Sunday as well
DS depositied at the train station at 7.15 this morning. First time he's going away from the nest properly! I did ask if he wanted a huggle or a kiss goodbye at the station but he declined :rotfl:
So house all to myself until 3.15pm when Miss Tag gets in from school.
Still dry here but not for much longer. Sun's gone in and nasty dark clouds are appearing.
A Very Happy Birthday to all the Birthday Girlies xxxxxx
Got a few bits to do but will be back later with the list/s.0 -

You should be able to get your address updated in branch, just make sure you take some ID to prove your identity.Hello strangers! Remember me ?! Thought I might come back if I'm allowed ?

Hey Jill :hello: great to see you, wow how your kiddies have grown! Glad things are well for you all, as you know everyone is always welcome back
And re the frog issue, you got it spot on, perhaps you could have chocolate or sugar frogs to eat?!
Well I have done some bits round here, still plenty more to do but now feeling a bit peckish so thinking of an early lunch.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
