  • Morning all!

Got up really early today (for me anyway:p) and did all today's hoovering, finished cleaning the fridge, changed the bedsheets -I know it's not on the list yet but I got a new duvet cover really cheap in Ikea and couldn't wait to use it :) It's the first time I've had 100% cotton and now I'm just regretting not buying 2!

Feeling a bit rubbish about how much money we've been spending recently though :( I'm really good with groceries/petrol/going out/clothes etc but the big things are all adding up. I guess once the spare room is finished that'll be it for a while.
Last night I did some research and found an 8" single memory foam mattress on eBay which has now been ordered. I reckon I got a bargain at £75 with free postage but still feel guilty about spending that money :o

Anyway sorry to have a whinge on here, I'm sure that are other threads that are more appropriate to have a moan about finances on but I haven't really found my way around this site properly yet. Feel free to point me in the right direction if you get fed up with me ;)

Need to get back to my list, anyone want to join me for a HHC @ 9.45?

Well I have just phoned the DWP as the copy of the letter they agreed to send last week hasn't arrived.

Apparently it takes 2-3 weeks to get her file from storage!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Words fail me!

Off to hang some washing out!

oday looks like it's going to be a fairly easy one for me as on a Tuesday the kids empty the bins (ready for binmen in morning) and DD hoovers the lounge. She often forgets but we had a pep talk last night so hopefully hey will all be getting on with heir daily job.

Plants were done by DS3 yesterday so just need to dust everywhere really.

Last day of sun for us apparently so will wash one sofa cover and get it out to dry. I do have a spare set but don't think they have been washed yet!!

I have a parcel I MUST return and have put it off for over a week now so that is my frog. Such a simple thing but cba to do it!

WendyWitch... If cheaper and no problems it's good for all. We considered swapping one of ours to the PDSA one but it only covers illness and emergencies and under those circumstances I don' think it would be fair to travel too far with the animal.

Had a phone call from some bloke asking to arrange to come and do my loft insulation??!!
Apparently the housing association have arranged this and should have sent me a letter, which I obviously haven't had!!
Luckily the bloke has given me their last appointment which is the 29th July so by then I have to empty the loft!!
Spoke to DD1 and we have decided that we'll use the time to throw away as much as possible which means we might have to do a bootfair :(

    Morning all

Very late reporting in for the week.

Got lost to the end of last week getting ready for our camping weekend with Sunday School which was great :) I had a lazy day yesterday so really need to get a shift on today.

Having departed from fred midway through last week and not reading this weeks I have no idea on latest news so apologies to all.

Off I go to sort some CHAOS clearance.
